DEAD MAN WALKING; LYRIC REC: #7

Hello guys, just another update on my song ‘Dead Man Walking’ I personally think that it is nearly done to move to the finale versions of recordings but, still trying to achieve the classic lo-fi folk country genre. “I hope you do appreciate my songwriting and the way I capture the first verse. My main inspiration comes from artist like Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, Ray Lamontagne, Dolly Parton and Laura Marling and the 50s, 60s music.” I hope you can see my execution within my distinctiveness.

DEAD MAN WALKING; LYRIC REC: #5

Hello, guys, just an update of a rough preview of my new version of my second verse ‘Dead Man Walking’. I changed the lyrics a bit just to make it sound more haunting and captivating within my true heart within this song I’m creating. When you listen please ignore the fizziness it was just that I was singing standing up and it made it sound rawer but, in a good way well I hope. I hope you do appreciate my songwriting and the way I capture the second verse. My main inspiration comes from artist like Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, Ray Lamontagne, Dolly Parton and Laura Marling and the 50s, 60s music.

Hello guys, here is another update based on my song I’m currently writing ‘Dead Man Walking’. Within this update is some ideas of my compositions of my ending of my song. I wanted the message to come across that the main character wanted to rest peacefully within his own bed and rest in heaven. This update I’m going to showcase a video snippet on my end, it’s still in progress, and new to sing but, I do hope you guys enjoy and remember that I wanted to express originality and within the country folk lo-fi old recording genre.

{BRIDGE}

THEIR PECKING, BREAKING MY BONES IN,
EXPLODING, RIPPING OF MY CHEST,
IN THIS WORLD HELL,
HAVE I LEFT,
AND MAY I LAY MY HEAD DOWN ON MY BED,
AND REST UP THOSE STAIRS,

So here is the preview. My main inspiration comes from artist like Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, Ray Lamontagne, Dolly Parton and Laura Marling and the 50s, 60s music.

One Day ~ Lyric rec: #1

Now moving on to a new song it’s called ‘One Day’ when I write a song I try and capture other narrations that inspire me through life but I never wrote a song that is personal to me or has something in my heart that I would love to write a song about. So I feel it’s time to write something so deep and what I loved dearly.

So ‘One day’ is a song that I’m currently writing it’s is a day that you experience in your life and you hold dearly within your heart and maybe one day you will experience that day once more. I wanted to write this on a personal level about a day and time that I hold dearly and will cherish for the rest of my life. It was once day. So here is the first part of the lyrics!

So here is the first part of the lyrics!

{VERSE ONE}

ONE DAY,
WE WILL FOLLOW THE RAILWAY,
BUT TODAY WE CAN NOT AFFORD THE TRAIN TICKET, SO,
US THREE MUSKETEERS,
WILL SLEEP UNDER THE TREES TONIGHT,
AND LISTEN AND HEAR TO OH, MAMA, OH, MAMA, UNTOLD STORIES WHICH WE BOTH LOVE,

It’s was one day when I and my twin brother and my mom decided to go out for the day it was that day when my mom knew that I and my brother were nervous to go into school.

I’m showing you guys some snippets but remember these are just breaking the ice to get the feel of the song.

{CHORUS}
THE MORNING LIGHT,
WE STARTED TO WALK IN AN OPEN FIELD,
TRYING TO GET RID OF THE DEVIL OH DEVIL(X2) DUST IN OUR EYES,
THEN OH MAMA, OH MAMA, OH MAMA, SHE STARTS SINGING A CHRISTMAS SONG,
IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SUMMER,

{VERSE TWO}

THEN TOMMAROW WE ARE DANCING FOR MILES,
WE ARE THE RAILWAY CHILDREN,
AND WE ARE GOING TO BE REBELS AND STAY,
UP ALL NIGHT, AND HAVE A PICKNICK ON TOP OF THE WORLD,
TOP OF THE HILLSIDE, TOP OF THE HILLSIDE,

We didn’t have a lot of money so mama created a picknick and we made a whole day late at night trying to follow the railway along the countryside and listen to mama childhood stories. And then we decide to be rebels and sit on a hill that we both know dear it felt like the top of the world watching the world go by and the stars fade. Them days and especially that day was a memory that I will never forget! so the meaning of this song is that ‘One day’ you will relive your cherish memory and well for me I will follow the railway!
