Oh, Little Orange Fox ~ Brendan (Acoustic Session)

Hello, guys, just trying to update my Youtube once a week even if it’s just little as snippets of my progression on my new material of writing.

A snippet of my new song I’m working on truly Lofi. The full version of the song is nearly done!

Lyrics;

{Verse One}

And this song is called ‘Oh, Little Orange Fox’

I just got shot down by the guy in red,
Two gun bullet holes that pierced in my chest,
Blood bleeding down at my breast,
I fell down, yes I fell down on my stupid head,
In a midst of a beautiful flower bed,

{CHORUS}

Those clouds they’re acting like a blanket,
The grass that I lay down flat on my back it’s my mattress,
And I see trillion of faces just glowing,
I’m afraid of letting go,
And you are all comforting me,
While I’m dying, (x2)
Here on the floor,

I hope you enjoy!

“I wanted to capture a classic country old recording sound, truly lo-fi. I hope you guys listen and see that my main inspiration comes from artist like Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, Ray Lamontagne, Dolly Parton and Laura Marling and the 50s, 60s music.”

Oh, Little Orange Fox.

Here is my new song that I’m currently writing it’s called ‘Oh, Little Orange Fox’. I wanted this song to be a short one maybe max of two mins to tell a tale of ‘forgiveness’.  I want to capture a folk style the inspiring like Bob Dylan within the old recordings. Here is first one.

{VERSE ONE}

I JUST GOT SHOT DOWN BY THE GUY IN RED,

TWO GUN BULLETS HOLES IN MY CHEST,

I FELL DOWN YES I FELL DOWN ON MY STUPID HEAD,

IN A MIDST OF A BEAUTIFUL FLOWER BED,

{CHORUS}

THOSE CLOUDS ARE ACTING LIKE A BLANKET,

THE GRASS THAT I LAY DOWN FLAT ON MY BACK IS MY MATTRESS,

I SEE TRILLION OF FACES JUST GLOWING,

IM AFRAID OF LETTING GO,

YOU ARE ALL COMFORTING ME WHILE IM DYING,

and here is the little snippet it’s truly rough but I just loved the outcome.

Hello, guys here is another update based on my song ‘Dead Man Walking’. This snippet is based on my verse one of the song, I wanted to capture a raw feel which I found truly interesting within my creativity.  I know it’s not the best quilty but, I really love the old recording sounding like Hank Williams and Johnny Cash. I hope you enjoyed this snippet.

” My main inspiration comes from artist like Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, Ray Lamontagne, Dolly Parton and Laura Marling and the 50s, 60s music.” I hope you can see my execution within my distinctiveness.”

Hello, guys, just an update of a rough preview of my new version of my second verse ‘Dead Man Walking’. I changed the lyrics a bit just to make it sound more haunting and captivating within my true heart within this song I’m creating. When you listen please ignore the fizziness it was just that I was singing standing up and it made it sound rawer but, in a good way well I hope. I hope you do appreciate my songwriting and the way I capture the second verse. My main inspiration comes from artist like Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, Ray Lamontagne, Dolly Parton and Laura Marling and the 50s, 60s music.
