Black Stallion: Lyric rec #3

Hello, guys just an update on my songwriting and song.

I have a snippet of my song ‘Black Stallion’ verse one! my main inspiration is classic country stars like Johnny Cash, Hank Williams, Ray Lamontagne and Dolly Parton etc. I hope you guys like.

Black Stallion I would love to describe the scene to you guys about this part of the song.

Right here goes this part of the song is about a foreigner losing everything basically an outcast trying to get back home from his crimes or his history or trying to go home to be safe from the land he feels so lost in. The civilian don’t respect or accept the protagonist. And try to gun down him or kill him before he leaves and only his friend is his companion ‘Black stallion’ basically, there both are trying to get back home.

But within my songwriting it’s a sad happy ending their fail to go back home there do actually get gun downed by the townsfolk. But within my narration I make the protagonist see a man singing within his choir that he was welcoming him and his horse to gods land.

I really hope you guys like the narration. I’m going to write the lyrics now.

ME AND MY HORSE ARE HEADING BACK DOWN SOUTH,
WHERE THEIR NO DEAD FOLK NO MORE,
ACROSS THE RIVER WHERE WE GO,
AND THROUGH THE MEADOWS,
WHERE GOING BACK HOME,
GOING BACK HOME,

I SEEN A MAN SINGING WITH HIS CHOIR,
HYMNING THE RHYTHM, HITTING THE RHYTHM,
AND WHAT A WELCOMING INTO GODS LAND,

SING IT ALONG NOW
ME AND MY HORSE ARE HEADING BACK DOWN SOUTH,
WHERE THEIR NO DEAD FOLK NO MORE,
ACROSS THE RIVER WHERE WE GO,
THROUGH THE MEADOW SWHERE GOING BACK HOME,
WHERE ARE GOING BACK HOME,

WHERE ARE HOME
