Lyric rec #11 “Jenkins, Drowning”

Within this update it’s the bridge. For this I wanted to talk em speak the bridge like what Johnny Cash does within half of his songs. As for the story on the bridge I want a feel that he passed away but defeating the darkness at the same time I will explain later for the last part of the song. But on this post it’s the bridge.

{BRIDGE}

THE SUN ROSE OVER THE MOORS,
A DUSKY MORNING,
A PREACHER MAN FOUND HIM,
LEFT FOR DEAD,
FREEZING TO DEATH,
BUT AT LEAST HE WASN’T IN PAIN,
NUMB TO HIS FINAL DAZE,

{CHORUS  3}

I NEVER SEEN A MAN,
FALLING DOWN,
FALLING DOWN SO FAR DOWN,
I NEVER SEEN HIM DROWNING,
DROWNING HIS SORROWS DOWN,
I NEVER SEEN HIM FALLING DOWN,

For the last part of this song I wanted a feeling that god helped Jenkins saving him and god listened to his prays placing him in heaven and saving him from hell represents earth!

THE ALMIGHTY LORD FINALLY LISTENED,
HE WELCOMED HIM IN WITH OPEN ARMS,
YOU FOUND YOUR WAY BACK HOME,
OH, JENKINS,
JENKINS SMILED,
