Lyric rec #8 “Jenkins, Drowning”

Hello guys, I’m going to be updating with some of my first verse lyrics based on my “Jenkins, Drowning” I am just going to give you a heads up what this song is about and what I want to achieve.

“Jenkins, Drowning” I want to have a dark atmosphere but not too dark like a dark country song inspired by Johnny Cash “give my love to Rose” or Ray LaMontagne “Jolene” and I don’t know if I want to sing this song like Hank Williams “I saw the light” or just my poem talking voice, like the style I did with “Out In The Wild”.

{VERSE 1}

HE DRINKS ALL DAY,
EVERY SINGLE DAY,
CHEAP WHINE, VODKA AND GIN,
THE CHURCH BELL RINGS,
HE IS LYING DOWN IN THE DITCH,
IT IS CHRISTMAS DAY,
AND HE IS ALONE IN THE DITCH,
